Realbotix to Sell Tokens.com Domain Portfolio for US$2.245 Million

AI robotics company Realbotix Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Tokens.com domain portfolio for US$2.245 million, marking a strategic monetization of non-core digital assets.

The buyer is Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., and the agreement was signed on January 7, 2026. The transaction is expected to close on or around April 1, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

What Is Included in the Sale

The transaction covers the primary domain Tokens.com along with related digital properties:

  • TokensArt.com

  • TokensGaming.com

  • TokensTrade.com

  • TokensTrading.com

According to the company, the sale does not involve any operating business divisions, intellectual property, or liabilities. The assets carried no book value on Realbotix’s balance sheet, making the proceeds a direct financial gain.

Strategic Rationale

Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Realbotix, stated that monetizing these legacy digital holdings enables the company to reinforce its financial position while sharpening its focus on its core business — AI-powered humanoid robotics.

Realbotix, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under XBOT and trading in Frankfurt and OTC markets, has positioned itself as a developer of advanced humanoid robotic systems integrated with artificial intelligence technologies.

Payment Structure

The US$2.245 million purchase price will be paid in installments:

  • US$1,500,000 at closing (April 1, 2026)

  • US$372,500 by August 31, 2026 (First Tranche Payment)

  • US$272,500 on or before January 31, 2027

This staggered payment schedule spreads the total consideration across three phases.

Regulatory Clarification

Separately, the company clarified that a management cease trade order issued by the Ontario Securities Commission does not extend its statutory filing deadlines. Realbotix remains in default of certain filing obligations until the required documentation is submitted in accordance with applicable securities regulations.

What This Means

The sale highlights how domain portfolios can serve as valuable digital assets, even when not central to a company’s operational strategy. By converting dormant domains into capital, Realbotix is reallocating resources toward its primary AI and robotics initiatives.

For investors and digital asset observers, the transaction reinforces a broader trend: premium domain names continue to hold significant standalone value, particularly when aligned with emerging technology sectors.
